Another back from the dead

At one time this table was completely floating in water in someones basement.  The bottom of the legs were completely gone.  These new bottoms were made and grafted into place.
Veneered and ready for stain.
Day of the install.  The entire table was re-veneered with quarter sawn oak.

Cue Rack Progress

Serious progress on the cue rack this weekend.  I now have everything built.  Here is everything mocked up and hanging on the wall.
Base of the rack.
Feels good to have a working cue rack.  Will be pulling at all apart, painting and lacquering everything this week.  I have already started production of the next four.  I am hoping to have this first run done within the month.

Brunswick Cue Rack

This is a Brunswick Cue Rack from the 40's that I restored.  I think they are the coolest cue racks ever made.  The problem is that they are few and far between.  I decided that I was going to make replicas of this rack and put them up for sale.
This is the bottom of the rack.
To the left is the full rack.  They mount to the wall and spin via a bearing in the bottom.  To the right shows the big metal bracket that mounts to the wall.
Here are the pieces that I have reproduced so far.  Should have the rest of the pieces done within the month.  I will post the final product.

Press Brake

Needed to bend some 1/8" steel for a cue rack that I am replicating and couldn't believe the price they get for a press brake.  I decided that I would make one.  Pretty simple design and works well.  Cost about $20 and a couple of hours to make.
Makes a pretty nice 90 degree bend in 1/8" steel.  I haven't pushed it to the limit yet but I think it can do a little more.

Pallet Standing Desk

Took a bunch of scrap pallets and pulled them apart for the desk top.
Planed all the pieces and glued up two 12 inch sections.
Planed the two sections again to level them out.
Glued the two sections together.
Made some legs from some gas pipe and bolted it all together.
Came out awesome.  You could put an elephant on it.
